It might seem like only yesterday, but it’s been ten years since the groundbreaking first collection from Jacques Marie Mage.
Since that initial range back in 2015 the brand has reached true cult status, developing a rabid fanbase of eyewear obsessives thanks to founder Jerome Mage’s unwavering dedication to quality and individuality, with a seemingly never-ending knack for ingenious, idiosyncratic details. That might sound a bit over-dramatic, but if you own a pair then you’ll understand exactly what we’re talking about.
To celebrate the momentous milestone, the now-iconic eyewear brand has created the Decade Collection—a super limited range of frames bringing back some of the most legendary—and sought after—JMM designs. Only a few select Jacques Marie Mage stockists are lucky enough to get this collection—and we’re proud to say that we’ll be one of them.
We first discovered JMM back in 2016 and were instantly blown away by the quality and attention to detail, and knew we had to bring them to the UK. In fact, we were the first to do so! Since then, we’ve grown alongside the brand and are now one of their biggest stockists in Europe. We’re genuinely honoured to be part of their incredible journey.
While everything with the Jacques Marie Mage name on the arms is already most definitely special, these ones should be filed under ‘especially special’—and a quick glance at the list of cultural icons modelling them should let you know that JMM aren’t messing around here. These aren’t just straight-up reissues, but are instead what Hollywood would probably call ‘re-imaginings’, given a luxurious update in the shape of new precious metal details and beefier 12mm acetate (as opposed to the usual 10mm).
Put simply—if you’re a serious JMM collector, you’re going to want to see these.
Here’s what we’ll be getting…

The Decade Dealan
The Dealan frames are one of Jerome Mage’s signature designs. These are the frames that arguably started it all back in the spring of 2015, so it makes a lot of sense that these got the red carpet treatment with that thick 12mm acetate along with chunkier arrowhead front pins and those standout ‘Decade’ wirecore Art-Deco details. Cranking that mid-60s Bob Dylan Don’t Look Back flavour right up to 11, these are a more-than-worthy update on a modern classic.
The Decade Zephirin
The Zephirins are another much-loved JMM design which were in that first collection ten years ago. They’re named after an Italian bishop from the 3rd century, they’ve got a sweeping, sculpted shape, and they’re instantly recognisable thanks to that perfectly-formed keyhole nose-bridge. If you thought the originals were swanky, wait until you see the Decade versions, complete with polished metal temple tips and hearty 12mm acetate.

The Decade Jules
The Decade Collection isn’t just for the core classics, and there’s also a few lesser spotted gems in the mix too… like the Jules frames—a rare design from Spring 2017 that are finally back in the building. In the spirit of the collection they’ve had quite the overhaul—with a refined titanium bridge adding to the Art Deco feel of the originals. Think of them kind of a record you never thought was going to get a repress—remastered and better than ever.
The Decade Devaux
First released in 2019, the Devauxs are another lesser spotted gem in the JMM back-catalogue that have become a bit of a collector’s grail. Taking their name from 18th century French military man General De Vaux (at least that’s who we think they’re named after), they’re a prime example of the left-field influences that go into Jerome Mage’s designs, fusing a square shape with soft lenses for a pair of frames ideal for smaller faces.

The Decade Enzo
Named after Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, The Decade Enzo frames are Jerome Mage’s homage to the glory days of motorsports. Think James Hunt living it up in Monaco, Steve McQueen in Le Mans and a heady blend of petrol and champagne. With that bold shape and those unique Decade details, they’re every bit as majestic as a vintage 308, but thankfully they’re a fair bit easier to get hold of.
The Decade Walker
A slightly more recent JMM design, the Walkers were originally released in 2021. Inspired by legendary pop-crooner-turned-experimentalist Scott Walker, they combine a rectangular shape with smooth, soft angles to make a pair of ‘60s flavoured frames with a difference. The Decade Walkers up the ante even further—with beefed-up arrowhead front pins and Art Deco wirecore detailing.

The Decade Jagger
Not sure if we really need to write much about these beauties. Just look at ‘em! A timely update on a 2019 design, the Jagger feature 6mm titanium lens inserts as well as extended sculptural eye-shields. And if you’ve got no idea what that stuff means, who cares? If you’re looking for the ultimate final-boss aviators, you’re in the right place.
The Decade Windsor
And finally, we’ve got the Windsors. Unashamedly oblong, these rectangular beauties are true wraparound wonders. Inspired by the 1950s—yet still somehow looking like they beamed down from a distant future—the unique lensed eye-shields on the arms and that double-bridge give a distinct sci-fi motorsports feel that we’re big fans of. If you’re looking for statement spectacles that’ll turn heads, then these are the ones.
So there you have it—the Jacques Marie Mage Decade Collection, coming soon to Seen Opticians. Keep an eye out on our Instagram and make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter if you’ve got your heart set on bagging any of these, as we don’t expect them to sit around for long.
